Nexans FLAMEX® Rolling Stock Cables Approved by TfL/LU
FLAMEX® rolling stock cables have obtained approval from Transport for London (TfL) meeting the latest fire safety requirements from the technical specification T0451.
This approval covers the latest generation of Power and Control wires and cables from 300V up to 6000V. The cables are compliant to EN 45545-2 requirements for the highest hazard level class HL3 limiting the spread of potential fires and the release of harmful smoke for passengers and goods.
The range is also asbestos free and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. The product lines are registered in London Underground Approved Products Register (LU-APR).
This successful TfL certification reflects the high quality of Nexans products for tough working environment and the rail industry's confidence with respect to FLAMEX reliability.
